Welcome to Sanctuary Refugee Health Centre
We are a health centre for refugees located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
Our goal is to provide health with dignity to vulnerable newcomers to the Kitchener-Waterloo region. We strive to offer care in a patient-centred, evidence-based fashion.
We are a volunteer-driven organization that accepts donations from the community to help with programming, interpretation and overhead costs. We receive very limited funding from the government. We welcome your support to continue to do the important work we do.
Do you wish to become a patient, or are you helping a refugee who does? Please call us.
We are located at:
687 King Street West
Mondays 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Tuesdays 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Wednesday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
LRT CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
We are open during the construction! Access to our parking lot is open from King Street. Due to the tracks, you can only access it going eatbound on King. Please do not use the lot entrance off of Agnes Street - this is not our property.
Bus route # 7 has had many route changes lately. Walking from Park & Dominion or Park & Glasgow seems to be (currently) the easiest way to come.
